GIVING MATTERS
WE CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU
“Back in 1970, Factory was the first theatre in the country devoted exclusively to producing Canadian plays. In my humble opinion, it’s also the one currently doing the best job.” - Richard Ouzounian, The Toronto Star
Factory Theatre has grown from an outspoken advocate for Canadian theatre to a national institution, and our facility has become a local cultural hub. From supporting the work of playwrights and theatre creators in our Natural Resources Play Creation Group to stimulating the creativity of youth in our new theatre training programs, Factory Theatre is committed to the next generation of theatre.
Our subscription and ticket revenue covers less than 30% of what it costs to present the new, exciting, and extraordinary work Factory Theatre produces each year. We work to ensure a stable and secure operation that will allow us to maintain both our artistic vision and our heritage facilty to serve our artists and our community in meaningful ways. We have accomplished so much in the last 42 years thanks to our donors and supporters and we thank everyone for their support and commitment to essential Canadian theatre!
