RUTAS Festival

Aluna Theatre is proud to present the 5th RUTAS international performing arts festival! RUTAS was born out of a desire to bring art from across the Americas to Toronto. To encounter new perspectives, voices and ideas, and to engage in conversations about art and human rights. In 2022 we celebrate the 5th edition of the RUTAS festival. And once more, we find ourselves at a pivotal time of change in this city, and around the world.

RUTAS 2022 takes place in locations around Toronto, with shows in North York, and Theatre Passe Muraille and Factory Theatre downtown. Our Symposium, “A home for our migrations,” in partnership with Nuit Blanche, York University and Hemispheric Encounters is Artscape Daniels Launchpad.

We invite you to check out the amazing line-up and book your ticket early. The festival this year has three ticket prices for you to choose what best fits your budget.

Pay What You Can Afford

Aluna Theatre is offering tickets to performances at three different price options $10, $20, and  $40. Audiences are invited to select whichever ticket price option works best for them.

ACCESSIBILITY

For shows happening at Factory Theatre, please note our elevator and accessible doors are currently down. Due to this, our Main Space is currently inaccessible. We are in the process of getting them fixed as soon as possible. It is recommended that patrons using mobility devices call ahead to book tickets and make arrangements for their visit. Ideally, patrons using mobility devices should arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the performance. Please visit our Accessibility page for more information.
