Factory 55 Campaign!
It’s our 55th birthday! Factory’s mission since its founding in 1970 has been to enthrall audiences with the imagination of Canadian playwrights and develop the next generation of diverse theatre artists. For five and a half decades, we’ve been pushing new Canadian work, backing iconic playwrights, and premiering bold new plays.

In celebration of our 55-year commitment to Canadian plays and artists, we’re launching a Factory 55 campaign! We’re hoping that 55 of you will join us in building the next chapter of Factory Theatre by becoming a Factory 55 Monthly Donor. Over the course of the next year we are setting a goal of 55 monthly donors between May 2025 and May 2026. Factory 55 Monthly Donors will be commemorated on a plaque that will live in Factory’s Studio Bar at the end of this year long initiative. Benefits and Recognition
Factory Theatre is a not-for-profit charitable organization. Charitable tax-receipts will be issued for all monthly donations in December or upon request; one-time donations will receive a tax receipt within one week of the donation.
