What if I can’t make it to the show? Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets for another date?

Is there a discount for same day tickets?

We offer $20 rush tickets for our Sunday matinee performances! Tickets go on sale 2 hours before the performance and can only be purchased in person at the Factory Theatre Box Office on the same day of performance.

At the Theatre

How early must I arrive?

We recommend audience members arrive at least 30mins prior to show time to secure their preferred seat.

Are seats assigned?

With the exception of Opening Night performances, all Factory productions are General Admission.

Where do I pick up my tickets?

If you selected Will Call on your order, your tickets will be available for pick up at the Factory Theatre Box Office approx. 2 hours prior to the show.

If you selected Print at Home tickets, please ensure to print off your tickets and bring a physical copy with you to the theatre. If you forget your print at home tickets, our Box Office staff will be more than happy to reprint your tickets.

Why can’t I be seated late?

Unfortunately, no latecomers will be admitted to our theatre. Seating latecomers can be both disruptive to the actors and to the other patrons. We please ask that you arrive on time for the start of the show. Some shows at Factory Theatre do have a late call, but the majority do not. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the show start time, to ensure that we will be able to properly accommodate you.

Can I tweet, text, and take pictures during the show?

We invite you to take photos pre-show, at intermission and post-show, but kindly tuck your camera away during the performance and ensure it is turned OFF. Feel free to share your experience by tagging our social media accounts and using #Factoryturns50.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

Outside food and drink is not permitted inside the theatre or in our lobby bar area.

Can we come backstage after the show and meet the cast?

Unfortunately not. However, there are many other options available to take a behind the scenes look at Factory’s productions. Please contact our Box Office staff for more information on post-show discussions with our casts and other immersive opportunities.

Are your theatres wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our Mainspace Theatre (which is accessed via our lobby elevator) is able to accommodate up to 4 wheelchairs. Our Studio Theatre is able to accommodate up to 6 wheelchairs. Please advise the Box Office representative when ordering your tickets if you, or a member of your party, has concerns about accessibility.
