Kitchen Potluck 2026

fu-GEN’s longstanding annual tradition of Kitchen Potluck returns this season with three incredible writers, three phenomenal dramaturges, and a troupe of formidable actors to bring everything to life! Potluck began before fu-GEN was a company in 2002 — a small group of Asian Canadian artists would bring food, gather, and read new works they were writing and look for feedback and encouragement. This tradition has grown into the incredible community you see today, encompassing hundreds of audience members, and supporting hundreds of artists. Celebrating the Asian Canadian new play tradition while closing out another fu-GEN season, we hope you can join us for an evening of joyous camaraderie, delicious food, and a wonderful party.
