Announcing Mark Aikman as our next Managing Director!
Factory Theatre’s Board of Directors, Artistic Director Nina Lee Aquino, and all of the Factory staff are very excited to announce the appointment of Mark Aikman as our next Managing Director!
For the past 6 months Mark has been serving as our Interim Managing Director, leading our staff during a time of growth and change as we move forward towards reopening to the public in 2022. We’re thrilled to welcome Mark into the role permanently and we can’t wait to see all the amazing work he’ll do in leading and supporting the creation of the next generation of Canadian theatre.
Previously Factory’s Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, Mark came to Factory from Buddies in Bad Times Theatre where he spent a decade in a variety of roles, most notably being their Director of Development and Communications for 6 years. He has also held positions with Crow’s Theatre, Summerworks, and The Dietrich Group.
