Anna Chatterton

Bio

Anna Chatterton is a playwright/performer and a two-time finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama. She most recently performed in her play Children of Fire (cowritten with Shahrzad Arshadi) at the Rutas Festival (Aluna Theatre/ Nightwood Theatre). Her plays have been produced by The Shaw Festival, Tarragon Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, Buddies in Bad Times, The Theatre Centre and Theatre Passe Muraille. Anna has won a Toronto Theatre Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress, a My Entertainment Award for Best Actress, named a top ten Toronto Theatre Artist by NOW Magazine, and been nominated for five Dora Mavor Moore Awards, winning one.
