Bio

Anna Morreale is a multidisciplinary artist and recent graduate of the CBC
Actors Conservatory at the Canadian Film Centre. As a performer, Anna has
worked professionally in the theatre, film and voice acting industries, alongside
their independent writing and producing practices. They recently wrote and
starred in their debut short film: NIKITA, produced by the CFC and directed by
Jessie Posthumus. Anna is inspired by art that is absurd, surreal, intrepid and
accessible. Their own work spans themes of queerness, mortality, grief, dreams
and corporeality. When they aren’t performing, you can find Anna in the kitchen
kneading bread dough and asking: ‘have you eaten yet?’
