Athena Kaitlin Trinh
Bio
athena kaitlin trinh is a recent acting graduate from the National Theatre School of Canada and a Dora nominated queer Chinese-Vietnamese actor, writer, and spoken-word poet. With roots stemming from Brampton, Toronto, and Ho Chi Minh City, athena celebrates her Chinese-Vietnamese heritage and dedicates herself to diverse, intersectional, and inclusionary art-making. athena is a settler in Tkaronto, on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, the Huron-Wendat and the Haudenosaunee peoples. She continues to work on various projects within the city, including having been a member of Factory Theatre’s Mechanicals unit in 2018 and now, Factory Theatre’s Foundry unit. She is determined to keep her suitcase light and heart full while she travels and works in various cities.
