Celia Green

Bio

Celia Green is a performer, choreographer and writer based in Toronto. As a performer they have been a part of development processes with Quote Unquote Collective, House & Body, and recently performed in J’ai pleuré avec les chiens by Daina Ashbee in Vancouver. As a choreographer they have created works for the stage and the screen, and have been in residence at Toronto Dance Theatre and at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, Belgium. Celia’s work has been presented in Berlin, Montreal, and in Toronto at the Rhubarb Festival and the SummerWorks Festival. Recently, they curated GOODIE BAG! with Dancemakers, a week-long event that offered free massage, tattoos, portraits and acupuncture for trans and gender non-conforming performers. Currently, Celia is part of the Seeding Work program at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre working on a new ensemble piece.
