Bio

Joella Crichton is a Toronto native and graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory. She is passionate about her Caribbean heritage and is the reigning Queen of Carnival here in Toronto, a title that she has won six times. Her recent theatre credits include The Memo (Thought for Food); The Session (Things Falling Apart); Surviving Speares (Toronto Fringe Festival). She has also had the pleasure to work with David Storch as ‘Rose’ on Restoration, Vikki Anderson on The Provok’d Wife, Micheline Chevrier on Hippolytus and Marvin Ishmael on A Midsummer Night Dream. Joella will be guest staring on the upcoming season of Degrassi and is thrilled to explore new avenues with Factory Theatre.
