Matthew Finlan

Bio

Matthew Finlan is a passionate multidiscipline performer with: theatre, dance and vocal training. Originally from Peterborough ON, Matthew moved to Toronto to seriously peruse a career in the performing arts. Finlan is a graduate of the George Brown Theatre School, his favorite GBTS credits include: Peer in Peer Gynt, Mortimer in Mary Stuart, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Leonardo in Munsched. Matthew is the founder of New Shoes Theatre, offering workshops and intensives for emerging performers. Most recently Finlan appeared as Mercutio in Old Flame Brewing Co.’s sold out acoustic adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. Matthew is elated to be given the opportunity to work alongside such talented and dedicated artist.
