Bio

Having grown up in Toronto, Melanie felt it was time for a change of scenery and attended the University of Victoria’s Acting program in BC. Since graduating she has performed as Elisa in Marie Antoinette; The Colour of Flesh (Urban Arts Productions), Marie Ange in Les Belles Soeurs (Village Playhouse) and Madame de Tourvel in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Amicus Theatre). Her TV and Film credits include playing Farah in the short film Little Miss Jihad (Imagine Stories) and Claire in the new web series, AntiSocial. When she’s not acting, Melanie teaches pole dancing at Ultra Violet Pole Studio and enjoys baking (and eating) French pastries. Melanie is absolutely delighted to be a part of the Factory Mechanicals this year and looks forward to all the creation that lies ahead!
