Bio

Michelle Mohammed is an artist, with a primary interest in developing her skills as a performer and director. She began exploring performing professionally at a young age, and decided to deepen her training and understanding of theatre by attending Brock University (obtaining a major in Dramatic Arts and a minor in English Language and Literature). This unique program allowed her to explore all the reasons she is captivated by theatre; playing characters in plays, devising plays, writing plays, writing about plays, directing plays, and questioning plays; while rigorously training as both an academic and artist. Select credits include: Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare BASH’d), Devisor/Creator in Mahabharata (Workshops) (Why Not Theatre/Shaw Festival), The Handmaid’s Tale (Gilead 3 Prod), En Vogue Christmas (Lifetime), Combat Hospital (Global/ABC), Apprentice Assistant Director to Peter Hinton in Oh What a Lovely War (Shaw Festival), Assistant Director to Danielle Wilson in Top Girls (Brock University).
