Bio

Naomi Morales (she/her) is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. She is a graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory (BFA, 2024). Her select theatre credits include Mia in Gringas (Winner of the Toronto Fringe New Play Award, dir. Zoe Marin), Alice and Montag’s understudy in Fahrenheit 451 (Raven’s Quill Productions), Bakkhai (dir. David Jansen), and multiple roles in Radium Girls (dir. Keshia Palm). She will next appear in Such Ado as Hera, a modern queer retelling of Shakespeare at the Toronto Fringe Festival this summer. Naomi has also performed in audio dramas, including Cloudless (Canadian Stage, dir. Alison Wong). Alongside her acting work, Naomi is an emerging playwright, recently co-writing a new stage piece she hopes to develop in the coming year. As a writer and performer, she is passionate about
creating nuanced Latine queer narratives that explore culture, identity, and belonging. Outside of theatre, she enjoys training in aerial silks
