Sasha Dion

Bio

After studying French literature at Université de Montréal and Theatre at École supérieure de théâtre at Université du Québec à Montréal, Sasha Dion worked as a theatre production coordinator and as an editor – notably as part of the editorial committee at JEU magazine between 2014 to 2018. During this time, they also developed their dramaturgical practice for playwrights and directors. 

Since 2016, they have worked as a dramaturg at the Centre des auteurs dramatiques where they provide dramaturgical support to member playwrights. Outside of the CEAD, Sasha works on projects which engage with their interests and sensibilities: an interdisciplinary approach with dance, circus, installation, theatre for young people, documentary theatre, autofiction, queerness, social justice and intercultural dialogue.
