Bio

Stephanie Fung (they/she) is an interdisciplinary performance artist and arts worker from Tkaronto/Toronto who is fascinated by the concept of convention and how we contest culture. A performer, writer, director, producer and theatre critic—they are drawn to themes of monstrosity, consumption, exposure, and grief.

A graduate of Queen’s University, Stephanie was recognized for her dedication to advocacy with the Fred Euringer Award, William Angus Award, and the A.E. MacRae Award in Creative Leadership. She has a history of collaboration with Canadian Stage, Toronto Fringe, Cahoots Theatre, Nightwood Theatre, Single Thread Theatre Company, Canadian Theatre Review, and the Kingston Theatre Alliance. She was also a recipient of the 2022 Metcalf Foundation Performing Arts Internship in Executive Direction.
