Tabia Lau

Bio

Tabia Lau (she/her) is a queer, Chinese-Canadian screenwriter, playwright, and scholar. Tabia’s first short play Cutaway has been published by Steele Spring Stage Rights. Other written works in development include The Dentist Play, Living Room Play, and The Cyrano Play. Tabia is great at naming plays, as you can see. Tabia is a writer and co-producer of the Netflix/CBC series Fakes. She holds an MFA in Playwriting and is a PhD Candidate at York University.
