Cam Wyllie is Canada’s beloved Sketch Comedy Maniac, with 3 Canadian Comedy Award Nominations, Festival Appearances all over North America, and a bunch of Comedy Awards with made up sounding names.

He’s coming in hot with a carefully curated selection of brave, tragic, and gleefully dumb characters who, like him, are just trying to do their best. Armed with a passable singing voice, a can do attitude, and the odd tinfoil prop, he’ll give you plenty of reasons to laugh, cheer, and get invested. Big Ol’ Mess (Denver, CO)

Big Ol’ Mess shows combine real life moments with the absurd. Their shows have a loose, improvised feel that leave audiences saying “that was so dumb, I loved it”.

Big Ol’ Mess is a sketch comedy group from Denver. Their members have performed all over the US, such as New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Portland, Denver and more. Big Ol’ Mess has performed at Portland Sketch Fest and RISE Comedy Festival. Two of their members are the co-producers of the Denver Sketch Festival, coming Fall 2024. Every member of Big Ol’ Mess is also an improviser, giving each show a loose, fun feel (we forget our lines).

Anders Yates (Tor/Mtl)

Anders Yates is an actor, writer, improviser, sketch comedian and tall person. He is currently a cast member in the Second City’s Touring Company and his solo sketch comedy has been awarded the Best of the Fest award at the Montreal Sketchfest and the Critic’s Pick Award for Outstanding Solo Performance from My Entertainment World. His on-screen work includes films like Indian Horse and Stockholm, the television shows Titans, Taken, Nurses and Murdoch Mysteries, and the recent queer horror short Bath Bomb. He promises to be funny and weird.

Fateema Al-Hamaydeh Miller (Toronto, ON)

Fateema is a Palestinian/ Canadian filmmaker & silly billy. She strives to explore the heartfelt and the grotesque through clown, cringe and “oh no… should I laugh??” comedy. She is a big fan of Cameron Wyllie. Thank you Cameron Wyllie for having me on your show. I hope I win that $10,000!

Herbeaver (Toronto, ON)

Herbeaver is an all-female sketch and musical comedy group. They are fast-paced, feminist, observational, and absurd; using satire and musical comedy to make fun of themselves and the world around them.

Katie, Heather, and Mallory all graduated from the University of Windsor with their BFA’s in Acting and joined the Toronto comedy scene back in April of 2017 with their monthly show “Bush Party.” Over the years they performed in the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival as well as Fresh Notes Musical Comedy Festival, Portland Sketch Comedy Festival, The HBO Women in Comedy Festival in Boston and most recently at the Summer arts festival in Orangeville.

The Incredible Shrinking Matt & Jacquie (Philadelphia, PA)

The Incredible Shrinking Matt & Jacquie is a best friend sketch comedy duo from Philadelphia that consists of Matthew Schmid and Jacquie Baker. Matt & Jacquie’s dark, absurd, and surprisingly genuine sketches feature doomed idiots who are just doing the best they can.

The Bustercups (Columbia, SC)

The Bustercups are Columbia, South Carolina’s #1 comedic hip hop duo that have performed at 2 establishments of barbecue. Yaw Attuah

Yaw Attuah is a comedian, writer and actor from Fort Erie, Ontario. He was a finalist in the 2017 Toronto Comedy Brawl competition and competed in comedy competitions in Brantford ON and San Diego CA. He debuted his critical and audience hit one-person show ‘Rhymes with Wow’ at the Toronto Fringe Festival July 2018. Yaw has completed the Second City Toronto Writer’s program and the prestigious Second City Conservatory program. As a stand-up comedian Yaw has performed at many well-respected clubs/venues across North America and has opened for Comedians Sam Jay (SNL) Josh Gondelman (Desus & Mero) and Eliza Skinner (Drop the Mic on TBS).
