This interactive storytelling session is for children of all ages. During your visit, Queen Repiyah, a talented storyteller, will transport you to the vast landscapes of the African continent, where you’ll embark on a magical journey filled with wisdom, courage, and the power of imagination. The stories are designed to both stimulate and engage their lively minds! Plus, each kid will get to pick 1 of Queen Repiyah’s book to take home when their session is over. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of African storytelling that will ignite the imagination, broaden horizons, and create lasting memories for children and families alike.

African Dance Class – Hope for Kivu

(3PM – 5PM)

Are you ready to move? Come experience the sights and sounds of Africa in this unique 2-hour fundraising African dance class! Our professional instructors from Sentiment Collective will lead you through movements from a variety of Kongolese dance styles, including Ndombolo, Soukous, Rumba… Suitable for all levels including absolute beginners, you will learn basic steps and have a chance to catch the African vibes. In addition, the event will also include light refreshments and a DJ RODAC spinning African tunes. All proceeds go towards supporting refugee camps in Kivu. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that will allow you to move freely. We can’t wait to share our love of African dance and culture with you! Grab your ticket now and let’s get ready to move!

Fundraising Sapologie (Dress Up) Contest! Put on your most imaginative and creative outfits for a chance to win fabulous prizes (Gift Card from brands like Hanifa, Richmenlooks…). We encourage out-of-the box ideas, so go wild (but not Nude)! Entrance into the competition is open to everyone. Purchase your ticket today and step on the runway and show us your fiercest and most creative looks! This event will be judged by a panel of industry experts and your ticket entitles you to a chance to win a range of fabulous prizes, enjoy Kongolese cuisine, live entertainment, and a donation to our charity of choice, Focus Congo. Your donation will help provide emergency supplies such as food, clean water, blankets, and medical assistance to meet the immediate needs of the Refugee camp’s residents in Kivu, DRC.
