Tricia Black

Tricia Black (she/they) is an award-winning queer actor, comedian, and songwriter. They hold two Canadian Screen Awards for their work on the animated show Summer Memories and the indie web series Band Ladies. Tricia is an alumna of The Second City. Ajahnis Charley

Ajahnis Charley (they/them/that b*tch) is a Black, Non-Binary comedian and is the Just For Laughs’ New Face of Comedy: Canada. Well, one of ten. But look how pretty they are!They are an alum of The Second City and they star in the HBO miniseries Station Eleven and Bell Media sitcom Shelved. They’ve written for comedians Craig Robinson and Roman Martinez-Reid, and they have story edited for upcoming comedy series Bria Mack Gets A Life, Stay Tooned, Dirts. Ajahnis writes for news satire platforms This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Beaverton and Because News. If you hear a pun about butts in Canadian media, they likely had something to do with it.

The National Film Board produced Ajahnis’ award-winning directorial debut, I AM GAY. Spoiler alert: they are gay. Their hit solo sketch show THOTS & PRAYERS has been performed internationally, and their 2023 sketch show Wanted won Best of the Fest at Montreal Sketchiest. Ajahnis is a co-founder and co-producer of the Untitled Black Sketch Project, Canada’s first all-Black sketch ensemble, unless Joe Pesci wants to join. Ajahnis is obsessed with Joe Pesci.


Shohana Sharmin Sicilia

Shohana Sharmin Sicilia (She/Her) is a Bangladeshi-born comedian, writer, and theatre artist, and now lives in Toronto with her adorable antisocial cat Ariel. Shohana is a proud Muslim queer woman of colour, and is a current cast member of the Second City Toronto’s National Touring Company. She is a recipient of the 2020 Queer Emerging Artist Award at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Shohana is the creator and a cast member of the critically acclaimed award-winning dark sketch comedy revue Dead Parents Society. She presented her solo show Come Here Often? at the 2019 Queer Pride at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. She has performed in comedy and theatre festivals across North America with her award-winning troupe Not Oasis (2017 The Toronto Fringe Patrons Pick, NOW Critic’s Pick). She wishes she could be more like her mother.


Kirsten Rasmussen

Kirsten Rasmussen is an actor/writer/ comedian and peanut sauce enthusiast living in Toronto, Ontario. If you want to see Kirsten on your TV screen you can find her screaming her guts out in Band Ladies on Highball TV, and throwing curveballs in Slo Pitch Season 1 & 2 on Out TV and IFC. Her other credits include Schitt’s Creek, TallBoyz, BitPlayas, Odd Squad, The Beaverton, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Dino Dana and a tiny but dignified masked role in Mrs. America. Kirsten has written on The Snoopy Show for Apple Plus, This Hour Has 22 Minutes on CBC and a new animated series called WELCOME by Titan1 Studios.

Kirsten has won three Canadian Comedy Awards for her work as a live comedian, and sketch director. She’s an alumni of The Second City Toronto’s Mainstage Company where she wrote and starred in three shows, and in their hit feminist revue called She The People, and she directed the mainstage show, The Skyline’s The Limit. Kirsten directs sketch for solo artists and groups in Toronto, most notably directing the Canadian Comedy Awarded Extravaganza Eleganza- an all Queer sketch revue, and Dead Parents Society featured in Next Stage 2023. Selena Vyle

Selena Vyle is Toronto’s bearded cabaret camp vamp of a certain age. This accomplished improv and sketch comedienne regularly tours and performers with comedy drag troupes Yaas & Vyle and Werq The Mic. She’s a co-host of two time Canadian Podcast Award winning Squirrel Talk Podcast and co-writer of the Canadian Comedy Award winning A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza. She is the voice of Rosa Mel Paquete in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6, plays Habibtease in Crave Canada’s upcoming Queen Tut opposite Alexandra Billings, and debuted her first visual album, Broken Hearted Girl at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2021 that nobody watched.

Locally, she can be found hosting Sunday brunch weekly at Glad Day Bookshop, and producing original programming like Sex and The Golden Girls at Comedy Bar, Bacon and Leggs at The Smith House, and The Play We Just Wrote Just Now at Second City’s John Candy Box Theatre. Oh, and she loves you very much.
